How does Bonsai work?

You keep one bonsai alive by logging real actions each day. Water is your everyday work and is the only thing that restores a heart. Nutrient is self-development and is the only thing that makes the tree taller. Neither covers for the other, so you need both for different reasons. Tend it consistently and it reaches full height in about six months.

Is my data private?

Your habit data stays on your device — we never upload, sell, or verify it. Bonsai is free and ad-supported, so ads (via Google AdMob) use standard advertising data, and purchases are handled by RevenueCat. Full details in the Privacy Policy. You can remove ads entirely with an in-app purchase.

My tree died / I lost progress. Can you help?

A tree dies when it runs out of hearts, but its growth is never erased — revive it and carry on. If something looks wrong, email me your device model and what happened and I’ll help.

How do I request a feature or report a bug?
